SaaS video ads

AI video ads for SaaS that explain your product.

AI video ads for SaaS use an AI actor to explain your software on camera, with no film shoot. On RiffAds you pick an actor, add a launch or trial script, and download it as a 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1 video.

The short answer

How do SaaS companies use AI video ads?

SaaS companies use AI video ads to announce features, walk through the product and push free trials without filming anyone. An AI actor speaks a short script, lip-synced to its voice, so the team can try many openings. You see what each ad costs in credits before it renders, and your AI agent can request the same ads through the API.

Best for

  • Feature launch ads
  • Free trial sign-up ads
  • Demo and explainer clips
  • Ads in your buyers' languages
  • Ads your AI agent makes

How it works

  1. 01

    Brief the writer

Tell the AI writer the feature, the buyer and the offer, such as a free trial, or paste a script you already have.

  2. 02

    Cast the presenter

Use a library actor, or build one from a written description. A founder-led ad can start from your founder's photo, once they agree in writing.

  3. 03

    Read the estimate

Before you press Generate, the studio shows what the job will cost in credits, so the spend is known before anything renders.

  4. 04

    Add your product

Stitch in your own screen recording and add captions. Then save the file and upload it to LinkedIn, YouTube or Meta from your own account.

06FAQ

SaaS, answered.

Still unsure? Book a call

They can, but only a test on your own account will show it, and RiffAds makes no promise about results. The format is one person on camera, talking through one problem your software solves. For B2B buyers, keep the setting and tone professional, make one claim you can back up, and compare the AI version against the ads you already run.

Aim for 15 to 30 seconds. LinkedIn recommends that range so a video ad can qualify for every placement in the Feed and the Audience Network. It accepts 16:9, 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16, and marks 4:5 as its recommended ratio. Talking actors render in 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1 on RiffAds. For 4:5, run the finished clip through the Resize tool, which adds bars or crops.

Yes, if you supply the footage, because RiffAds does not record your screen. Upload a screen recording as an MP4, MOV or WEBM file, resize it to the ad's shape, then join it to the AI actor clip with the Stitch tool and caption the whole ad. For a mobile app, the Show Your App preset places one screenshot on a phone screen in a short clip.

Yes. An AI actor can present a demo, explainer, onboarding or feature walkthrough script in any of 74 voice languages, lip-synced. For a founder-led video, build an actor from a photo of your founder after they agree in writing. Each clip has a model limit, such as under 60 seconds of audio for OmniHuman 1.5, so split a long walkthrough into clips and stitch them.

Only if a real customer gave it. The FTC's rule on reviews and testimonials bans ones that misrepresent whether the speaker exists or used the product, AI-generated fakes included. An AI actor may voice a real customer's words with permission, keeping their meaning. The FTC Endorsement Guides then say to disclose clearly that the speaker is not an actual customer, and to state the typical result unless you can show the quoted one is typical.

You see the cost in credits before anything renders, at $0.01 a credit. As an example, a talking actor spot of 30 seconds, with its voice-over, is about 848 credits. Plans begin with Launch at $49 a month, which includes 4,500 credits, and unused credits never expire. A 3 day Growth trial gives 500 credits for $1, then bills $99 a month unless you cancel.

Yes. On every plan, an agent can use API, MCP, Agent Skills and CLI to draft a script from your release notes, submit the job with a max_credits cap and get a download link. An owner or admin sets the caps above that. The defaults are 600 credits per job and 2,000 a day, and each API key can get a budget. A 30 second talking actor video can pass that per-job default, so raise it first.
