# AI UGC lead generation ads in every city you serve.

AI UGC lead generation ads are short videos in which an AI actor explains your offer to camera before people fill in a form. RiffAds turns your script into these ads and prices each one before it runs.

## How do lead generation teams use AI UGC ads?

Lead generation teams use AI UGC ads to explain an offer, such as a quote, an inspection or a consultation, before a viewer shares their details. The AI actor plays a presenter, not a made-up customer, and one brief can turn into separate hooks for each city or offer. RiffAds shows the credit price of every ad before it renders.

### How it works

1. **Write the hooks**: Tell the AI writer what you offer, where, and which problem it fixes. Keep the hooks that name a need, not a type of person.
2. **Cast the presenter**: Use a library AI actor to explain the offer, or describe a new presenter in words in the app.
3. **Check the estimate**: Read the credit cost in the studio, press Generate, and get a lip-synced take in the voice you picked.
4. **Add a label, then upload**: Put captions and an on-screen AI label on the video, download it, and upload it to your Meta or TikTok lead campaign yourself.

### Best for

- Insurance quote ads
- HVAC and roofing promos
- One ad per city or offer
- Consultation booking ads
- Ads your AI agent makes

### RiffAds in numbers

- **848**: credits for one 30 second explainer ad from a talking actor, voice included, quoted before it runs.

### The numbers behind it

- **58%**: of US adults aged 30 to 49 say they go on Facebook daily, and so do 54% of those aged 50 to 64. Source: [Pew Research Center, Americans' Social Media Use 2025](https://www.pewresearch.org/internet/2025/11/20/americans-social-media-use-2025/), November 2025.
- **18 to 65+**: is the age range Meta generally fixes for housing, employment and financial products and services ads. Source: [Meta for Developers, Special Ad Category](https://developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/audiences/special-ad-category/).
- **Jan 2025**: is when Meta began requiring its special ad category for financial products and services campaigns run by US advertisers or shown in the US. Source: [Meta for Developers, Special Ad Category](https://developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/audiences/special-ad-category/).

## Questions

### Why do UGC style ads work for lead generation?

In a UGC style ad, one person explains the offer in plain words, so a viewer knows what happens after they share a phone number or email. That is a reason to test the format, not a promise, and RiffAds guarantees no results. Put the AI version beside your current creative and compare cost per qualified lead, not clicks.

### Do finance lead ads on Facebook need a special ad category?

Yes, in the US. Since January 14, 2025, Meta has required its special ad category for financial products and services campaigns run by US advertisers or shown to US audiences. Inside that category, age targeting generally stays at 18 through 65+ and you cannot use lookalike audiences. So the script has to call out the need, such as comparing loan rates, because the targeting will not. Check Meta's definitions to see if your offer is covered.

### Can insurance agents legally use AI video in their marketing?

FTC staff say the fake reviews rule does not forbid AI avatars as such, but the AI actor must never pose as a policyholder. The rule forbids testimonials from people who do not exist or never had the experience described, and an avatar ad can still be deceptive, which the FTC Act forbids. So let the actor explain coverage. On TikTok, use the AI-generated content toggle or your own label, and follow any insurance ad rules that apply to you.

### Can a financial adviser use an AI actor in a lead gen ad?

It can present the service, but it cannot be a client. Under the SEC Marketing Rule a testimonial is a statement by a current client or investor, so an AI actor cannot give one, and any praise it gives is an endorsement. Adviser ads with a testimonial or endorsement must clearly and prominently disclose client status, compensation and conflicts. For broker-dealers, FINRA says the Rule 2210 content standards apply whether a person or an AI tool made the communication.

### How long should a lead gen video ad be?

Long enough to state one offer and one next step. No single length suits every offer, so test a short cut against a longer one. Each RiffAds talking actor has its own range: Seedance 2.5 Actor renders 4 to 30 seconds, OmniHuman 1.5 takes audio under 60 seconds and MiniMax H3 Max lip sync needs 5 to under 14.8 seconds of audio. The Stitch tool joins clips when you need a longer ad.

### Can I make video ads for HVAC or roofing leads?

Yes. An AI actor can explain an HVAC or roofing offer, such as a quote or an inspection, to camera before the viewer fills in the form. Write one version per trade, season or city, and each ad shows its credit price before it renders. The actor is a presenter, not a past customer, so script it to describe the offer, never a job it did.

### Can my AI agent make a lead gen ad for every city or offer?

Yes. API, MCP, Agent Skills and CLI are in every plan, so an agent can write one script per city or offer, price each job and submit it with a max_credits cap. People set the limits. Unless an owner or admin changes them, an agent may spend 600 credits on one job and 2,000 in a day across the workspace, and each API key can carry its own budget. Every job returns a download link, and nothing is posted.

## About RiffAds

RiffAds makes realistic UGC video ads with AI actors, lip-synced to your script, in the studio or from your AI agent through API, MCP, Agent Skills and CLI. It never posts to a social account: every result is a download link to the finished file.

RiffAds is priced in credits. 1 credit is $0.01 and credits never expire. Plans start at $49 a month for 4,500 credits. A 30 second talking actor ad is about 848 credits. The studio, the REST API and the MCP server spend the same balance at the same prices, so there is no separate API price.
